Context
Super Bock Super Rock is a big music festival in Portugal that happens every year. For the 2025 edition there was some problems... The Festival lost his promoter and had no lineup, no Date, no prices... They just knew it hould happen and needed to sell tickets because other festivals were already doing it. Our challenge was to create an idea to make people buy tickets while they finish setting things up.
Insight
Hoing to a festival is almost always a group activity, the majority of the people don't like to go alone to a festival and in fact many people that were willing to go, dont go just because they dont have anyone to go with.
Also, there is that popular expression: "I'l do it if you do it", or in this case: "I'l go if you go".
Idea
Create a campaign where people are motivated to go with their friends and if they dont have any, we match them to someone! Basically we are promoting a friend pass to the festival, the early bid tickets can only be bought as 2 tickets so you need a friend to do it or if you dont have any, you fill a form with basic questions and the festival matches you with someone. In the festival, werever you go with your friend, you both will get a prize for that. Everything is funnier with friends even if it's your first time!
Execution
We created the keyvisual that is the friends ticket with two beers cheering together, then we created the platform were people would buy the tickets, the social media posts, the advertising outdoors allways ressembling this cheering with two people, like the train doors when they close, or the elevator... And we also created some merchandising that you could win with your friend.
