Context
SOMA is a new brand and their product is Custom Home-made Probiotic Drinks. Their products are made by experimentation and when a drink goes well they store the receipt and sell the drink. Their flavours are unpredicctable but very healthy. They already provide drinks for a local coffee-shop in Portugal called Marquise and their drinks are really well received.
Idea
Since the brand is very human, very experimental, very natural and organic, the main goal was to keep this features on the brand but adapt them to the target of Young people, foreigners, influencers... People foccused on health and lifestyle.
The logo was created to be stretched, to be part of their community, more than customers. It’s bold but trendy and reflects this organic and unpredictable part of SOMA drinks. The texture on the logo also reflects this organic and raw feeling of the brand.
Execution
For the creating of the brand, the logo, NO AI was used, I wanted to keep the brand natural and human and to be unpredictable I used a tool I am not very familiar: Fountain Pen and Chinese Ink. I wanted to have the unpredictable flow of the ink on paper to shape the brand like the brand does with their drinks. I created some versions, then I Vectorized the logo, add the texture and created the branding.
The bottle was photographed by me and the label was designed by me too.
I only used AI for some mockups of the bottle since there was no budget for a photoshoot and for the logo animation due to the large amount of points to stretch.
